Auto Glass Resealant is ideal when re-sealing or re-using old fixed-window gaskets. Flowable formula seeps into and seals cracks and irregularities for a tight fit. Use with ordinary caulking gun (gun not included).
3M Hookit Conversion Face 5" Backing Pad
The Hook-It Conversion Face has a peel-off backing to that sticks to a clean 4 1/2"-5" backing pad. The fuzzy Hook-It face allows the abrasive films to be easily attached. The Abrasive Films are also available separately. Use (40030B) for the Coarse A35 Abrasive Pad, (40030C) for the Medium A10 Abrasive Pad, and (40030D) for the Fine A5 Abrasive Pad.

Windshield Removal Kit
Removing glued-in windshields can be tricky. The clearances between the dash- board and the inside of the glass is often too small for a knife to fit and prying on the glass will almost certainly break it. This handy kit contains everything you will need to remove your windshield safely, with minimal risk of breakage. Includes 72 feet of heavy duty wire which can be cut to length, an awl to feed the wire between the glass and the sealing tape, two handles with allen set screws and an allen wrench to secure them.

Medium A10 Glass Cutting Abrasive - Use this medium glass cutting abrasive to remove deep scratches. It is often better to use several of the Medium A10 Abrasive (40030C) than to risk distorting a viewing area by using the Coarse A35 Abrasive (40030B).

Coarse A35 Glass Cutting Abrasive - Use this coarse glass cutting abrasive to remove deep scratches. NOTE It is very difficult to use this abrasive without creating optical distortion or waveness in the glass. It is often better to use more of the Medium A10 Abrasive (40030C) than to risk distorting a viewing area.
Glass Polishing Wheel
This Glass Polishing Wheel is used with the Pro Glass Polishing Compound (40011B) to remove the windshiled wiper haze typical of older vehicles. Not for the removal of deeper scratches. Try this simple test: Run your fingernail over the damaged area on the windshield. If your nail does not get caught on the scratch, then your windshield can be renewed using this wheel with compound. Backing flange fits 5/8"-11 threaded shafts. The included adapter allows this wheel to fit your electric drill. The Auto Glass Sealant (34017 ZC) helps stops water leaks.
Windshield Chip Repair System
This kit includes both the (40008) Windshield Repair Kit and the (52030) Diamond Windshield Burr. Most stone chips and small breaks only penetrate the outer layer of the windshield. This kit repairs them with a unique resin that actually penetrates the inner layer. Not for use on radiating cracks. The diamond burr with 1/8" shank is used to make a precise hole in the glass so the resin can be more readily injected.

Glass Polishing Compound
One pound Glass Compound is enough to recondition several windshields. Use with Glass Polishing Wheel (40011 A). First mark the damaged area, mix the Glass Polishing Compound with water, attach the Glass Polishing Buff to your drill or low-speed polisher (1500 rpm), dab on the Compound and keep the wheel moving and wet. The Pro Kit (40011) includes: Special Glass Polishing Wheel (2 1/2" diameter x 1" thick), 1/4" adapter (for use with your electric drill), One pound of Glass Polishing Compound, and instructions. The Auto Glass Sealant (34017 ZC) helps stops water leaks.
Diamond Windshield Burr
For best results with our Windshield Repair Kit #40008 use this diamond coated burr to make a precise hole in the damaged glass and make a stronger resin bond. Shank diameter is 1/8", use at 1500 rpm or less.
