Fast Cut Buffing System 10 Inch

From Rough to Shine in the Quickest Time - This kit makes it possible to bring pitted metal surfaces to a high mirror shine in much less time than using regular buffing wheels and compounds. The 3M Trizact Bands (1 each of 5 grits) smooth rough surfaces more quickly and easily than other sanding bands because they feature a unique non-loading pyramid structure. They offer much more consistant cutting action and far outlast our regular abrasive bands. The soft rubber expander wheel yields to gentle contours to minimize edge cutting. The ventilated wheels cut faster. Also includes compounds and instructions.

This Kit provides the materials and detailed instructions needed to refinish 4 wheels, or more at roughly the cost of having just one wheel professionally re-finished. Engine turning, or damascening, has long been the hallmark of fine automotive craftsmanship. This technique leaves metal surfaces with a swirled pattern, really setting off your vehicle. Great for any flat polished metal surface: firewalls, valve covers, dashboards. Either of these two Kits will allow you to customize your vehicle with this process using specially formulated abrasive rolls and your drill press. Two Kits are available: the 1" Kit contains two 1" diameter rolls and mandrel; the 1/2" Kit contains two 6" long rolls, which yield six 2" working rolls. Complete instructions included.

Facer And Mushroom Buff Kit

Get in Tight With These Buffs. The fine-weave cotton of this mushroom-shaped buff works faster than conventional felt bobs and also lasts longer. The 1/4" hex shaft resists slipping in your drill chuck while its plastic ferrule prevents scratching the recessed areas of your workpiece. These unique buffs will help you reach into deep recessed areas on your project. Great to use when the area is too large for a felt bob. Like the larger mushroom buff above, they feature 1/4" hex shafts and plastic ferrules. Max. rpm 10,000.

Mounted on sturdy steel shanks, these felt buffing bob assortments really get into the tight spots. Great for putting the final touches on intricate pieces where larger buffs simply will not reach. All are made of long-lasting hard felt and will work well with any of our buffing compounds. Great for removing residue left from buffing.
