SHIMRIN Designer Pearls Knox Gold Quart
SHIMRIN Designer Pearls (PBC) are universal base coats that may be cleared for a final finish, or used as a base coat for Kandys or Pearls. Due to their unique chemistry make-up, they may be top coated with either acrylic lacquer or urethane enamel. These Designer Pearls are usually applied over 8514ZP Shimrin White BC-26. See the Materials Guide pgs. 67-68 of the Tech Guide or our website for required quantity.

3M 2 inch 233 Plus Masking Tape Green
Use the Right Masking Tape - Hardware store tape can leave adhesive behind and lift when paint is applied, leaving overspray on trim and a rough parting line. 3M Green Tape is preferred by professional refinishers for superior hold and easy removal. Accuspray HVLP 23K System
The AccuSpray HVLP System 23K uses a 3-stage turbine to supply air, not an air compressor. It runs on standard 110V, less than 12 amps power, so you can use it virtually anywhere an extension cord will reach. The turbine contains no oil, so the possibility of oil getting onto your paint job via the air line is eliminated. Also, the air from the turbine is pre-heated and dry, so the possibility of condensation forming in the lines is eliminated. Unlike 2-stage turbines, delivers 85 cfm at 5 psi at the gun, which is perfect for automotive paints and yields a consistantly smoother finish.
Dry Ultra Mini Flakes Rainbo (1/500th) 3 oz
Flakes may be added to any of our SHIMRIN Universal Bases, Kandys, Clears or Kustom Bases. Built from ultra thin polyester, our flakes are the lightest and easiest to use. This finish is usually applied over BC-25 (8513ZP 001 QT) Shimrin Black Base. Ultra Mini Flakes are easy to apply and smooth out with topcoats. These flakes have the brilliance of a much larger flake, combining the ultimate in a flake look and ease of use.
KOSMIC Urethane Components KU-190 Quart
A Catalyst for all types of finishes. Our KU-100 catalyst for use in Kosmic Klear UC-1,Kosmic Kandys coded UK, and Kosmic Urethane Enamels with UB code. This product must be mixed prior to use. The KU-150 is a multi purpose catalyst for urethane finishes. It is used with KO-SEAL II Primer Sealers, UC-35, and UFC 35 Kosmic Klears.The KU-190 catalyst is for use with UFC-19 Komply Klear II only. This product must be mixed before use.Our KU-500 catalyst is for use with our Polyurethane finishes.

Ko-Seal II must be applied over sanded and clean primer or properly prepared and sanded previously painted surfaces for proper adhesion.

Oil Separator
Moisture and oil separators are an unbeatable combination for helping you get professional results. Together, they will remove 99.9% of the contaminates that can ruin paint jobs and painting equipment. The (34104) Coalescing Oil Separator filters particles as small as.01 microns. The (34103) Moisutre Separator ensures dry air to the gun and takes out particulates down to 40 microns. Both have 1/2" NPT ports and handle up to 150 psi. Buy both as a set (34106) for best results.
