From Rough to Shine in the Quickest Time - This kit makes it possible to bring pitted metal surfaces to a high mirror shine in much less time than using regular buffing wheels and compounds. The 3M Trizact Bands (1 each of 5 grits) smooth rough surfaces more quickly and easily than other sanding bands because they feature a unique non-loading pyramid structure. They offer much more consistant cutting action and far outlast our regular abrasive bands. The soft rubber expander wheel yields to gentle contours to minimize edge cutting. The ventilated wheels cut faster. Also includes compounds and instructions.

8" Yellow Foam Flat Cutting Pad - Flat Surface for consistent performance with no swirl marks. A straight side with a gently rounded corner allows tighter control around body edges and peaks. For cutting, should be followed up with a white foam pad.

Buff Bob Mini Cylinder Assortment
Mounted on sturdy steel shanks, these felt buffing bob assortments really get into the tight spots. Great for putting the final touches on intricate pieces where larger buffs simply will not reach. All are made of long-lasting hard felt and will work well with any of the buffing compounds. Great for cleaning out residue left from buffing. A perfect accessory for the Foredom Craft Kit. The smaller 1/8" shank sets are ideal for trim pieces and the 1/4" shank set is great for engine component buffing. Max 15,000 rpm.

The flap design of these Buffs keeps your work piece cooler, reducing the risk of warping. The flaps tend to "slap" the part, resulting in cutting action that is twice as fast as spiral sewn wheels. Both sizes feature cardboard centers. 8" wheel requires 2 1/2" diameter washers.

Buff-Open Dbl Cloth BIas Sisal Treat Purple 8x3/4
Smoothes away scratches faster than standard sisal wheels. Combines the aggressiveness of sisal with the coloring capabilities of cotton sheeting. These materials are sewn together at a standard spacing and held together in a metal clinch ring. The unique construction of this buff allows for flexibility, and the "open" face provides a cooler surface than a full-disk buff. Use with 13134 Emery Compound or 13129, 13194, 13131, 13132 Greaseless Compound
