After epoxy sealing the entire car, I have used Rage extreme, and spot-lite to smooth out all the previous crappy bodywork. There were some sand throughs to the bare metal, and lots through to the previously applied filler. I have spot primed the bare metal spots with more epoxy sealer, and in some of the areas of filler there are a few areas of pinholes here and there, maybe .020" deep.
Do I need to treat these spots with the spot-lite and sand, or will the 2k HB that I will be spraying on take care of those?
Basically, I'm asking, How perfect does the surface have to be before high build?
Also is it okay to spray high build over portions of filler, or should the entire thing be sealed again?

the high build is meant to be sprayed over filler so you are ok there. technically you should not use primer to fill pinholes. they should be filled with polyester putty. that being said if you did fill the holes with primer it would be the first time it was ever done. but it wont take much time to skim them with the putty so thats what i would do
